Terms of Service

1. The Service

GetInterviewed helps you tailor your CV to job descriptions, generate cover letters, assess ATS match, refine your CV by voice, track applications, and (where unlocked) access premium career-coaching features. Core résumé features are provided free of charge; the Career Journey feature is a paid add-on (see Payments).

2. Eligibility & your account

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to use the Service lawfully.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you provide (including your CV, job descriptions and voice input). You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the Service to you (including sending it to our AI and infrastructure providers described in our Privacy Policy). You are responsible for ensuring your content is accurate and that you have the right to submit it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: misuse the Service or interfere with its operation; attempt to access other users' data; upload unlawful, infringing or malicious content; scrape or overload the Service; or use it to generate false, misleading or fraudulent job-application material. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

5. AI-generated output

The Service uses AI to generate suggestions, tailored CVs, cover letters, scores and coaching. Output may be inaccurate or incomplete, and ATS scores are estimates, not guarantees. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all output before you rely on or submit it. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, including interviews or job offers.

6. Payments (Career Journey)

The Career Journey feature is available as a one-time lifetime unlock or a recurring monthly subscription, at the prices shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; by purchasing, you also agree to Stripe's terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled and you can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.

Voluntary donations (the “Support Us” tip jar) are non-refundable. For paid Career Journey purchases, contact privacy@getinterviewed.app for any refund request; except where required by law, one-time unlocks are generally non-refundable once access has been used, and subscription fees already charged are non-refundable.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right in our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as intended.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (including Google, OpenAI, Emergent, Resend and Stripe). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any result will be achieved.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of employment, income, data or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or SGD 100. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including content licence limits, disclaimers, liability limits and governing law) will survive.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date and, where appropriate, seek your renewed agreement. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
